"Relatively new writer Lavie Tidhar had a great year, publishing the near novel-length Cloud Permutations, and appearing all over the place (mostly online; so far, he’s mainly an internet phenomenon, and hasn’t appeared in any of the Big Three print magazines) with strong stories such as ‘‘The Spontaneous Knotting of an Agitated String,’’ ‘‘The Night Train,’’ ‘‘The Insurance Agent,’’ ‘‘Lode Stars,’’ ‘‘Aphrodisia,’’ and an impressive number of other stories, giving rise to the rumor (one he shares with Greg Egan) that he’s actually an AI or a computer program.

A new writer who kicked it up a notch over her previous work was Yoon Ha Lee, with stories such as ‘‘Flower, Mercy, Needle, Chain,’’ ‘‘Between Two Dragons,’’ ‘‘The Territorialist,’’ and ‘‘The Winged City’’."
Locus, February 2011

Intriguing minds want to know: Lavie, are you really an AI? :p

Most salient point is: who thinks the Big Three are still the measure of success?
